Ashley Hagood is the historical fantasy author of the ongoing Daughters of Valhalla series.
Originally from California, she moved to the U.K. to attend Goldsmiths College, University of London, where she earned a joint degree in English and history. Since then, she has worked as a writer, editor, and web designer, primarily in the video game industry.
Ashley now writes fiction full-time. Embracing her interest in both history and creative writing, she enjoys crafting historical fantasy stories about women who wield sharp swords, sharper tongues, and strong hearts.
Ashley currently resides in California with her husband and her cat Gilly. When she’s not writing, she’s usually playing story-driven video games, binge-watching history shows, traveling (or daydreaming about it), or taking long walks to plot her next story.
