A Viking historical fantasy
DAUGHTERS OF VALHALLA
Three Viking sisters. Three different fates. One epic quest to save their village.
Along the icy fjords of the North, the daughters of Kaldvik were born to three very different paths. Svanhild, the shieldmaiden with fire in her veins. Haldis, the seeress marked by visions she doesn’t yet understand. And Brynja, the quiet heart of their family, who may be stronger than anyone knows.
But when a ruthless warlord slays their father and claims their home, their fates are shattered.
Forced to live as captives in their own village, the sisters must choose: bend the knee… or rise in defiance.
Sweeping, emotional, and steeped in Norse myth and magic, Daughters of Valhalla is a saga of sisterhood, survival, and slow-burning vengeance. Perfect for fans of Vikings and The Last Kingdom.

MEET THE SISTERS

SVANHILD
Firstborn daughter of Jarl Tove and his wife Helga, Svanhild is stubborn and passionate by nature. Shunning marriage, she dreams of being a shieldmaiden. Cherishing a strong faith in the Norse gods, she sees signs of them everywhere, from the ravens in the trees to the rainbow bridge spreading across the winter sky. She enjoys singing, spending time with her family, and battle training.

HALDIS
The second-born daughter of Tove and Helga, Haldis was born blind in one eye with a red rash running down one side of her face. Since her mother saved her from abandonment as an infant, she has trained as a Viking seer—but she doubts her own abilities. She would rather be sitting by the lake than reading runes, and when in company she hides her scars beneath a hood.

BRYNJA
Youngest daughter of Tove and Helga, Brynja is shy and compassionate. She loves spending time with friends and family, and she has a gift for domestic arts. She particularly looks up to her mother, who runs the longhouse with authority and compassion. Although she can’t envision herself married to anyone, she looks forward to running her own house one day.
