I loved this book! The details and descriptions transport you to the Viking-age and welcomes you into the family that the book is centered around. The characters are so well developed. As I read, I found myself getting attached to the sisters and their world. I didn’t want the story to end. Thank goodness it’s a series!

This is such an intriguing tale! The author did a fabulous job of bringing you into Svenheld’s and her family’s world. Full of twists and turns, it’s a true page turner. Ms. Hagood’s knowledge of the history and beliefs of the time period showed. I highly recommend the books in this series!
